The Company was founded in 1858 and is
proud to record that four
generations of the Sallis
family have contributed to
its success.

Since 1858 we have
progressed from the cottage
industry era of hand knitting frames to the high-tech
era of computerised
knitting machines. Keeping
pace with development, we are able to
match the stringent requirements of the
UK’s medical profession and expand our
range to sports injury products.
We have been supplying the National Health Service in its many guises since its formation in 1948 and were founder members of the Surgical Appliance Manufacturers Association in the 1950's. Our products are widely used in the medical field from hospital to pharmacy. |
The Company has been approved under the
British quality standard since 1994.
Recently our approval has been upgraded to
the new ISO 9001:2000.

The Company is also registered with the
Medical Devices Agency as a manufacturer
of class 1 medical devices, which enables us
to CE mark relevant products.

our past and present customers ever
changing needs, paying close attention to
cost, quality and delivery, whilst seeking
